Web Beacons.We also employ a software technology called a clear GIF (Graphics InterchangeFormat),alsoknown as a pixel tag or Web beacon. How does Trafera protect financial-related information?

Keeping your personal financial information private is very important to us. Any user statistics that we mayprovide to prospective partners regarding financial matters are provided in the aggregate only and do notinclude any personally identifiable information about any individual user. We will transfer your credit cardnumber, bank account number or other personal information in encrypted format to the appropriate creditcard company or bank in order to process any online payments. We use third party payment processors toprocess your payments and we do not collect or retain your credit card or bank account information.

What security precautions are in place to protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of yourinformation?

Your Trafera Portal Account Information and Trafera Portal Profile is password-protected so you have accessto this personal information. We use encryption technology for passwords and registration information.Remember to sign out of your Trafera account and close your browser window when you have finished yourwork. This is to ensure that others cannot access your account by using your computer when you are awayfrom it. Because information sent through the Internet travels from computer to computer throughout theworld, when you give us information, that information may be sent electronically to servers outside of thecountry where you originally entered the information. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internetcan be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Our site uses Transport Layer Security (TLS) which uses encryption toprotect transfers of personal information. You will know that a webpage within our website uses TLS when yousee the padlock symbol or "https" in the URL. Information that you disclose by use of this site (as withany site that is non-secure), by posting a message or using e-mail, potentially could be collected and used byothers. Authorized Agents.If available under applicable law, you may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. To be able to act, authorized agents must submit proof that they are authorized to act on your behalf. We may deny requests from claimed authorized agents who do not submit adequate proof that they are authorized to act on your behalf. We do not process privacy requests sent to us using third party services that have not complied with our verification process. This is because such services often request that we click on hyperlinks which we will not do for data security reasons. These services are also susceptible to spoofing and other phishing attacks. One of our highest priorities is to treat your information safely and securely.

Verifying Requests.To help protect your privacy and maintain security, we will take steps toverify your identity before complying with your requests. For example, for requests to know and delete, we willattempt to match your identity to the information stored in our files. If we cannot, we will ask you to provideadditional identifying information. We will use information you provide in your request for the purpose ofverifying your identity or authority to make the request.

Right to Non-Discrimination.Residents of California and certain other states have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment by us for exercising your privacy rights conferred by applicable privacy laws. We will not process your personal data in a manner that violates anti-discrimination laws. Unless permitted by applicable privacy laws, we will not:

  • Charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through granting discounts or otherbenefits, or imposing penalties;

Participation in a financial incentive program requires your prior opt in consent, which you may revoke at any time

Responses to Requests.Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to understand, evaluate, and respond to it. We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.

We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive,repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee; we will tell you why wemade that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.
